I have ridden through the southern edges of Kehjistan more times than I've checked my own stash, and somehow I never noticed a long, suspicious tunnel leading to a bandit rave. Last night, because my Necromancer desperately needed that shiny Aspect of the Damned, I finally went spelunking. Spoiler: Uldur's Cave is less "hidden dungeon" and more "someone forgot to hang a sign."

If you have been ignoring this corner of the map, I don't blame you. The entrance is at the end of a long tunnel, just a short ride north from Gea Kul, and the whole place feels like a side alley you aren't supposed to wander into. But trust me, the trip is fast, and the Aspect reward is worth it for any shadow-loving Necromancer.

Where the Heck Is It?

Uldur's Cave sits in the Ragged Coastline section of Kehjistan. You don't need a key, a quest, a secret handshake, or a rare drop. You just need to find a tunnel and commit to walking down it like you're investigating a noise in a horror movie.

From Gea Kul, head north. You'll spot a long tunnel mouth that looks like it leads nowhere important. That's the place. Follow it all the way to the end, and the dungeon entrance will be waiting there, probably with a Scorpion or two judging your life choices.

What's Waiting Inside (and Why Scorpions Are Rude)

This cave is infested with three flavors of annoyance:

  • Scorpions – fast, stabby, and extremely uninterested in your personal space.

  • Savage Beasts – their frontal charge can delete chunks of your health bar if you stand there daydreaming.

  • Scorched Stingers – they fire Hornet Swarms that can rack up damage faster than a toddler can trash a living room.

You'll want to keep moving. These enemies are not technically difficult on their own, but in a tight cave corridor, they can stack damage surprising quickly.

Objective One: Demolish Some Wood

Your first task is to destroy three Barricades. These wooden walls won't attack you directly, which is very polite of them, but they will summon a small mob to defend them. Since the dungeon layout is quite linear, you won't need to explore a bunch of side corridors to find these barricades. Just bulldoze forward and break anything that looks like a bandit built it.

The Totem Chamber and the Lever Tango

After the barricades are gone, your objective flips to Find the Bandit Hideout. Keep moving forward and you'll enter a chamber containing four Totems. Kill the enemies inside, then find and activate two levers to open the next section.

This is the part where I always expect a trap. It's just two levers. No trap. You'll be fine.

Clearing the Hideout Without Losing Your Mind

Now you're in the Bandit Hideout proper, and your job is to kill all enemies inside. Unlike some dungeons where this objective makes you backtrack for ten minutes, Uldur's Cave is not particularly long. You won't have to hunt down too many stragglers, but do be thorough. Don't run off leaving one random bandit alive behind a rock. That one bandit will haunt your minimap.

Once the last enemy drops, the final boss spawns near you. Fun!

Final Boss? More Like Final Bouncer

The Ringleader of the Bandits is technically the final boss, but they only have the power of a regular Elite. Their affixes are random, and since they'll be the only enemy left, you should be able to take them down without breaking a sweat. Honestly, the Scorpions earlier were ruder.

Loot and Why It's Worth It

Completing Uldur's Cave rewards you with the Offensive Aspect of the Damned. This is a Necromancer Legendary power that increases your Shadow damage against targets affected by both Decrepify and Iron Maiden debuffs. If you're running a shadow build, that's beautiful.

You'll also get Experience and 30 Renown with Kehjistan, which is a nice little bonus for exploring a corner of the map that most players forget exists.

Quick Cheat Sheet

Objective What to Do Notes
Destroy 3 Barricades Break wooden walls They don't attack, but their minions do
Find Bandit Hideout Walk forward Totem chamber with two levers
Kill All Enemies Clear the hideout Not too many, but don't skip any
Kill Ringleader Elite boss Random affixes, easy solo

So if you've been putting off Uldur's Cave because it's tucked away in a rarely visited section of the map, do yourself a favor and go. It's quick, it's mostly linear, and the Aspect of the Damned is a solid pickup for any Necromancer who enjoys watching enemies melt under debuff-heavy Shadow damage. Just watch out for those hornet swarms. They have no chill.
